Set amidst a blizzard on the rocky cliffs of Nahant, MA, “After” tells the story of a woman forced to end a volatile affair with her lover.  Vivian wakes to find herself alone in Sam’s car after a night of drunken debauchery. Confused but content, she collects herself as Sam returns with coffees in hand. Together, they quickly fall into the familiar habit of a long love affair. However when her husband calls telling her that she has to come home for her son’s soccer game, Vivian is forced to make a difficult choice between her family and her lover.  Lust or responsibility.  “After” explores the calm before the storm, and what it means to watch one’s fragile reality shatter into a million pieces.
